Renee Swink has been painting for 17 years in which time she has studied with local Greensboro, NC artists Connie Logan, Judy Meyler, Denise Landi and John Beerman of Hillsborough, NC.
Her inspiration for her oil paintings comes from the impressionists but she also enjoys recreating nostalgic scenes from the 1920’s and 30’s and the paintings of that era. Figure studies interest Renée as well and she captures the personality through their eyes and gestures.
She has shown in local art shows such as Artstock and the Parisian Promonade and in the past had works in Fleet Plummer and Gallery 1401 in Greensboro, NC, Fun Finds and Waterworks in Salisbury, NC.
Currently you can see her work at The Sweet Tea Studio on State street in Greensboro and at 87 Ruffin Street gallery in Linville, NC.
